Welcome here in Gambeson/Padded Armors Section. Here you can see different models of gambesons, which were worn in Medival times and later. A gambeson is a padded defensive jacket which is worn as armor separately, or combined with Chainmail or plate armours. Gambesons are being produced with a sewing technique called quilting. Quilting can be done in various designs and patterns with different guages and layers of padding.
